This was one of the wildest sessions that I have had in a while!
This was a branding session done to promote BRAAPNation's business Badass Helmet bows. For this session, I brainstormed all the different sports that involve helmets and women (bows can be for guys too if they want!) and worked with the owner, the beautiful Brittany, to figure out which helmet bow sports she would like to advertise and then rounded up as many women as possible to volunteer for the sessions.
I had 21 volunteers total which is awesome! It's great that I have a good network of women who wanted to be a part of this. There were three volunteers for the horse sessions, one amazing little girl for the softball sessions, 6 for the rock climbing session, 2 for biking, 1 for roller blading, 1 for sportbikes, 1 for sportbike mechanic, and an amazing 8 for the motorcycle session in Atlanta. One amazing volunteer did 3 different sessions with me. It was a blast!
We had the rock climbing girls out at Cherokee Bluff park in Flowery Branch. It is a great spot for bouldering if you're interested! It was absolutely beautiful that day too with the fall leaves in the background and the weather a cool 60-65 degrees.
The mountain biking girls were done at Harbins Park in Dacula where I met up with a couple of amazing women who did awesome with the biking session. Then, the roller blading one was also at Harbins Park.
The horse session was done at Flyhawk Farm in North Georgia where they offer horseback riding lessons and a gorgeous AirBNB with a stunning view of Mount Yonah. The lady who runs the farm is a wonderful person! She's pictured below in the blue helmet with the silver bow.
After that session was done, I headed to Blood Mountain to do a session with a woman who is a motorcycle mechanic, AJ. She's incredibly smart, technical, and can take a motorcycle completely apart and put it back together again. Huge props to her awesome abilities!
After that was an impromptu session at Blood Mountain with a last minute volunteer who did great! The day ended with me being literally exhausted and ready to head home but I had one last session with the softball girl who, the minute I met her, was just this adorable ball of fire and made me so happy with how cute she was that I had to get a ton of adorable photos of her. She was a little spark!
About a week after that, I had one more session that was done in front of a mural in Atlanta and I had 8 beautiful motorcycle women show up for that session. They did phenomenally!
All in all, it was a blast working with all of these incredible women! I am so ecstatic to have had so many wonderful volunteers. If you're interested in buying a helmet bow, feel free to look at the Badass Helmet Bow website!
