There are certain sessions that make me swoon with awe at when I am culling and editing the photos and this was one of them.
I specialize in newborn photography but I do many different types of photography and when my longtime friend, Stephanie, asked if I could do her sister's 15th, I was so ecstatic. I LOVE a good princess shoot and her jaw-dropping red dress was just everything. It had a delicate lace bodice and layers of tulle that I knew would look amazing in her session. I asked her to twirl and hold the dress in several of the poses on purpose because I knew that tulle + movement = an ethereal look.
She absolutely rocked it at modeling for her session. It was fun and I got to hang out with her family who I absolutely love. They are all so sweet, kind, and fun to chat with.
I walked away having shot about a thousand photos. There were so many great moments where we were all cracking up. The dog, Chapo, was adorably sweet and had the softest fur. The kids all did amazing and didn't get too fed up with the whole session.
I have to mention the last part of the session. It was a total rush to get the last part in. Naia wanted to change into a green dress for a couple of shots in the long grass. That series of photos were some of my favorites!
This was a fun shoot done at a local park just a few minutes North of my studio. It was a warm, windy day and everything about the session was just beautiful.
Session date: 5/3/23
