Kimberly's quinceñeara session was a fun capture. It was raining a little when we got to the park and I was a little worried that we wouldn't get the shots we wanted and definitely worried about the kids getting rained on but the weather held off and although it was cloudy, we still got some beautiful shots in.
This was a fun group of kids that got all dressed up for this session. I am about 50% fluent in Spanish and can communicate fairly well and I got to use my skills at this session. It was awesome to get a few real smiles in making jokes and getting the kids to crack up a bit. I know that when I am hired for the first time it is a little awkward to get in front of a stranger with a the camera and to try and follow all of the poses but I do my absolute best to make people feel comfortable around me and to get them to smile real, natural smiles. I crack a lot of stupid jokes and act goofy to get those smiles. I made sure to get all the shots she wanted from her shot list and wished her a happy birthday.
These are the memories and smiles that last a lifetime.
This was done at the Rhodes Jordan park in Lawrenceville, GA.
Session date June 11th, 2020.
